The Thai Industrial Standards Institute, or TISI, administers Thai industrial product standards and associated licensing. Products covered by compulsory standards need the relevant compliance route, while voluntary certification serves a different purpose. The existence of a Thai Industrial Standard alone does not establish that every product in the market needs a compulsory licence.
The project should begin with the exact product category, standard and supply arrangement. Importers and local manufacturers can face different application details. Product testing and manufacturing quality evidence need to describe the goods that will actually be placed on the Thai market, including their factory and model range.

02Does a foreign safety certificate replace TISI licensing?
