From product evidence to shipment.

Start with the regulated product scope and the latest TBS guidance. Separate general goods from special arrangements such as used vehicle inspection. Destination procedures and exemption claims should be checked explicitly rather than inferred from another exporter’s experience.

The programme provides procedures suited to different trading and product circumstances. Give the provider an accurate picture of shipment frequency, production controls and available reports. The chosen route should be confirmed before relying on a reduced inspection or testing plan.

Review each product against the applicable standard or approved specification. Organize complete reports, product descriptions and supporting records. Label evidence should reflect the goods being supplied, including the relevant model identity and intended use.

Agree where the goods can be examined and how representative samples will be identified. Coordinate production and packing so inspection does not become a last-minute obstacle. Record any findings and the evidence used to address them before requesting a final decision.

A qualifying assessment leads to the applicable CoC; relevant vehicle arrangements may instead involve roadworthiness documentation. The separate Tanzania CoC service explains document reconciliation. Neither document should be represented as a general approval for unlisted future consignments.
