01Is ECAS required for every product?
Applicability follows the regulated product category and relevant UAE requirements; it is not a universal registration for all goods.
02Can CE marking replace ECAS?
Do not assume equivalence. Existing European evidence may be useful, but the UAE assessment route and accepted documentation must be checked separately.
03Is ECAS the same as EQM?
No. ECAS product conformity certification and licensing to use the Emirates Quality Mark are distinct services with different assessment arrangements.
04Does Complise issue the certificate?
No. We support classification, file preparation and coordination. The authorized reviewing and issuing parties make the conformity decision.
